An important note before booking:
We do not shoot sessions on weekends, except for weddings. The only other exception to this rule is the mini session dates we schedule for Fall and Winter. We set aside those dates to try and accommodate as many people who absolutely cannot shoot during the week as we can. We know this is not ideal for most, but remember in our philosophy statement we mentioned life is short. We don't won't to spend our short life missing out on our family time and our kids' soccer games every weekend. Here are some other solutions that may help you when planning: Consider taking a vacation day. Easier said than done, right? If that doesn't work, maybe schedule your family sessions in June or July. We can start sunset sessions as late as 6:45PM. This allows time for most workers to get home from work and get changed. Sunrise session before work? You'll be pretty for work! For Seniors and newborns, this isn't much of a problem. Seniors typically have schedule flexibility their Senior year and we shoot newborns in their home, during the morning, within the first few weeks of birth while parents are still home. Do you help with planning ?
We love being by your side to help you before your day. Ok... maybe WE is a stretch, but I, JENA, will be all up in your inbox! Together, we will create an inspiration board via Pinterest for you to pin your ideal looks. This helps me get an idea of your style and I'll plan accordingly! I'm also on standby to help you plan outfits or anything else you need. I'll hold your hand... or get out of your way. Whichever you prefer!
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in the Western Kentucky/Tennessee area and yes we love to travel! Did I mention we love to travel? We love to travel. That said, if you want us to capture your story, it will require a travel fee & lodging, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, we always try to find the cheapest way to come because... we LOVE to travel. I don't think I mentioned that.
When will we get our photos?
That's the million dollar question, huh? Never fear! Having a to-do list in my head wigs me out, so I try and keep a very, regular editing schedule. You will receive an online gallery link with all your PHOTOS within a maximum 3 weeks for weddings and 1 week for anything else (sometimes less depending on the season we shoot your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints all in one location! Video takes longer. In peak wedding season, it can take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks to receive your finished product.
How many pictures will we receive?
For 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story. That said, I'm a chronic over-shooter and can't promise I might always do more than what I say.
